It is essential to prepare for these rounds, with the correct time-saving techniques and concepts, to ensure success. Aptitude Quant Questions, for all standardized tests, may belong to the following categories:

· Number System

· Time & Work

It doesn’t matter if you don’t come from a Mathematics background, so don’t fret! A systematic game plan and a dedicated mindset is all you need to ace these rounds.

CHECKLIST TO PREPARE FOR THE QUANTITATIVE TEST:

· Relearn The Basics

It’s time to create a list of all the topics that could be tested and then jump to YouTube and go through a plethora of videos available, the main goal is which is to bring back the concepts learnt in school and the new ones, fresh in your brain.

· Systematic Preparation

Instead of mixing up all the topics while practising, pick one topic at a time and solve the sample papers relevant to them, which you can find for free on the web.

· Time-Saving Technique

We don’t need to reiterate the importance and sensitivity of time when it comes to such tests. The idea is to check how your brain reacts to inducement of stress, while finding the quickest problem solving technique. Lucky for us, seniors that have already been in this position have collated a list of all the shortcuts that you need. Look out for these, master them, and you are good to go!

· Be Careful About Guesswork

A majority of the tests include negative marking. So attempting questions, going by your intuition is strict no-no. Hence, it is essential to focus on all topics so that you are absolutely confident when answering.

· Formulae List

Create a list of all the common formulae and go through it every night, right before sleeping. This will help in retention.

· Time Management

There is a tendency to waste a significant amount of time on a particular question. The correct trick is to move on from the questions you are unsure about and come back to them later after attempting the rest of them. Follow this mindset when you are taking the mock tests as well!

· Mock Tests

Nothing provides you with a realer picture than a mock test. You get to know about your level of preparation and how your response is to an actual timed test. Do not ignore this part of the preparation as it is the most integral.
